Produced and presented by Hawai‘i Island’s own Prince Dance Company (PDC), The Turning Point was a series of fundraising performances that took place during the month of December 2020. The performances were held at the acclaimed Russel Art House in Waimea (Kamuela) at sunset.

The Turning Point, is a performance that takes viewers on a journey through the seven stages of grief and the gifts it provides. It is a one-of-a-kind theatrical dance performance to acknowledge and explore the transitions through the stages and the gifts the journey through all of the stages provides. It is a powerfully emotive piece that explores one of the most natural parts of our humanity.

For this project I worked closely with PDC’s board president and artistic director to create just what they were looking for—an invitation that was elegant and eye catch, but also remained true to what people could expect from the performance and its theme of grief.
